17 Korean Students of Leading Painter Sunyoung Kwon Receive Award
Kenmore, WA – 5 students among 17 Korean students under the painter Sunyoung Kwon won the honor of receiving 1st~3rd place at the Youth Art Group Exhibit, held at the Kenmore City Hall Gallery. The event was organized by AOK (Arts of Kenmore).
During the awards presentation on November 13th, Jeewoo Kim won first place in the pastel painting of the 5~8 year old age group and Sohee Lee won first place in the 9~12 year old age group.
SooJeong Lee won second place and Yeajin Yoon and Jihee Han won third place. Sanghyun Lee, Bansuk Kim, Shinji Kwon, Leah Wohlfert, Minjeong Baek, Yoonsuh Jang, Haemin Hong, Seungyeon Kim, Minjeong Kim, Jinyong Jeong, Yiseul Yoon and Jiyeong Moon all received a special prize. The prize winning paintings will be on display until January 28th.
