Seattle Korean Restaurant selected as one of fifty great US restaurants

Including a Korean fusion restaurant run by a Korean chef, three Seattle restaurants were selected among fifty great US restaurant in the culinary expert magazine Bon Appetit.  

The magazine selects ten out of fifty great restaurants and presents them as ‘Hot restaurants’ in the US.

Trobe, a Korean restaurant in Capitol Hill, was included in a list of fifty great US restaurants this year. Trobe is run by Rachel, who became famous after appearing on the culinary TV show called ‘Chef.’ The restaurant has a  kitchen with a bar, and Korean barbecue, with bulgogi and kalbi as the main dish.

‘Bon Appetit’ recommends rice cracker with lamb curry, beey tongue with special herbs, and Waygu beef with Kalbi sauce.

Damn the Weather, a cocktail bar in pioneer square, and Manolin, a seafood restaurant in Wallingford, were also selected to be apart of the list of fifty great US restaurants along with ‘Trobe.’

Damn the Weather became the best restaurant with great cocktails and great appetizers and the snacks. Recommended dishes are the caesar salad sandwich, chicken fat fries, and blood-sausage sliders.

Lastly, the magazine described Manolin as a place that has a summer vacation at the beach-vibe, and recommended Plantain chips with salt and pepper.
