On December 17th at the Bellevue Club starting at 6:30 PM (11200 SE 6th St, Bellevue, WA 98004), the SHK Group is hosting an opening party to celebrate its partnership with H&R Block.
SHK Group, a Korean accounting firm owned by Sung Hoon Kim, signed a strategic partnership with H&R Block, America’s biggest accounting firm, and opened its first premium office behind the Crossroads Mall in Bellevue, Washington.
SHK Group became the first Korean accounting firm to run business under H&R Block, targeting not only Koreans but also the mainstream U.S.
Established in 1955, H&R Block has become one of the most successful accounting firms with more than 11,000 locations worldwide, with offices in the USA, India, Australia, Brazil, etc.
It not only runs its own tax reporting system, but also runs an online tax-return system.
With a strategic partnership between H&R Block, SHK Group becomes more systematic and efficient at providing better service to its customers. Also, adopting H&R Block’s field manual enables SHK Group’s accountants to more professionally serve their customers. Kim mentioned that the partnership will not only enable SHK Group to become more professional but also enable it to provide better service and security by using the best accounting system that H&R Block owns.
SHK Group will use its existing office as a headquarters, providing businesses with tax and accounting services. A new H&R Block premium office opening in Bellevue will be providing a year round personal-accounting service, providing individuals with tax report and return services.
A premium office in Bellevue will offer services in seven different languages including Korean, English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Iranian, and Sinhala, targeting many different individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Kim stated that “SHK Group couldn’t have agreed to a partnership with H&R Block if it wasn’t supported by its customers and the Korean community. SHK Group will work hard to provide better service to satisfy its existing and future customers.”
