On January 17th at the Bellevue Club, SHK Group successfully celebrated its recent strategic partnership with H&R Block and the opening of a premium office in Bellevue. SHK Group received favorable praise as being ‘one of the most successful and exemplary business models run by first generation Koreans’.
More than two hundred participants including VIPs from both H&R Block and the local Korean community came to the party to celebrate SHK Group’s brighter future. SHK Group’s partnership to H&R Block means more than just a partnership between the two companies. It showed that, if well grown, Korean businesses are compatible with America’s mainstream business culture, and that it is possible to expand into the broader US markets.
This is the first case of a Korean accounting firm expanding its business beyond the Korean market and into the US market under H&R Block. H&R Block is one of the most successful accounting firms, with 11,000 offices around the world including the US, India, Brazil, Australia, and so on. This strategic partnership not only pushed SHK Group to become more professional but has also improved their service and security with access to the best accounting system H&R Block owns.

I believe this partnership will make that even stronger.”
SHK Group will use its existing office as a headquarters, providing businesses with tax and accounting services. The new H&R Block premium office opening in Bellevue will be providing an all year round personal-accounting service in seven different languages, providing individuals with tax reports and return services.
