Korean led nonprofit organization Cornerstone Medical Clinic (Director, Dr. Jae Jun Byun) is starting home visiting and hospice services.
On April 13th, the Cornerstone
Medical Clinic has announced that it is expanding its range of services by
adding home visits and hospice services to serve patients in need.
Home visiting services will be provided to anyone and patients over age of 65 with
Medicare that are not capable of visiting medical clinics due to physical
conditions. Visits will also be made to patients staying in nursing homes.
The hospice service aims to ease
the sufferings of the dying and provides emotional and mental support to its
patients. Hospice service will be done in different ways from pain management
to psychic counselling and so on.
The representative of the Cornerstone Medical Clinic stated “Home visits and hospice services are programed and managed by Dr. Byun and nurse practitioner So. These services will first be provided in Federalway, southern part of the King County, the Pierce County, the City of Olympia, and Lacey area.
Dr. Byun mentioned that “patients under severe or emergent condition should visit the clinic or other hospitals instead of calling us for home visits because although we try our best to provide same quality of treatment, due to lack of resources, we might not be able to provide enough treatment needed on certain conditions or injuries.” He not only is providing such great services but also is helping people to register for Medicare so that they can get the right treatment.
Upon expansion of its
services, the Cornerstone Medical Clinic decided to hire professionals in
different positions including LPN, medical assistants, receptionists, and so
on. To find more about hiring information, please visit www.cornerstone.clinic and apply with
