A group of young Koreans made 1,850 dollars through a benefit show titled “Gifts for Giving”, showing off their various musical talents. The profits will be donated to the poor and under-represented through a couple of nonprofit organizations.

Na-young Jung, a senior at Inglemoor High School in Bothell, led the concert and sent SeattleN the pictures of the event at the United Presbyterian Church of Seattle, saying they made a total of 2,000 dollars in donations.

Jung said the donation would be delivered to ‘Child Heaven’ and King County United Way, minus the minimum expense of 150 dollars for holding the event.

Gifts for Giving completed their fourth annual show, with this year joined by not only Korean youth, but also other students from diverse countries performing trendy dances.

Jung mentioned, “I am really thankful to the students and elders who came to support and enjoyed our talents. I will be continuing this concert to keep donations going even after entering college.”
