Let your children have a Korean language education

Since Korean language schools started opening more courses in the Seattle area, more children are needed to register to their learn mother tongue and the ethics of Korea.

The United Seattle Korean School newly-appointed principal Joon Lim Park appealed to Korean churches and the Korean press to urge children to have a well-constructed Korean education, beginning with an application to a Korean language school. With the longest history in Seattle, the United Seattle Korean School has had classes every Friday night and Saturday morning, just recently reduced to only Saturdays last year.

Schools accept registration on the opening day of the school year, Sep. 12th, but also by mail.

Principal Park said “The Korean classes will be every Saturday from 9AM to 12PM at the Shoreline Christian school, and from 12PM to 1PM extracurricular activities will be taught. This year we will have story-telling, drama, plays, and Korean traditional percussion.

The United Seattle Korean School is managing a program for students in 10th grade and up to receive 5 UW credits in one semester and 10 credits in one year by taking regular classes at the United Seattle Korean School every Saturday.

Having majored in Korean-education in Korea and having extensive experience teaching, Principal Park emphasizes that the United Seattle Korean School has thirteen classes with ages ranging from children to adults, with twenty teachers who have superb methods.

The school is known as a good place to make friends over a meal because lunch is provided with love by the parents of the students.

Seattle Catholic Church, Dae-Gun Kim Korean school opens on Sep. 11th until next January. For sixteen weeks, there will be Korean class every Friday night and Saturday morning. Twenty four years of the traditional Seattle Catholic Church Korean school, famous for high quality education.

Seattle Eastern Preaching Church Korean School opens on Sep. 18th

Seattle Eastern Preaching Church Korean school (Priest: Kyung-Soo Hwang) also opened on Sep. 18th.

It is recruiting students for the 2015-16 Korean School year. The class will be every Friday 6p.m. and tuition is affordable, fifty dollars per person.
